“The staff was exceptional! They were all very nice and helpful. It didn't have a pool but we knew that when we booked it. The breakfast was alright. It's a little thing but the "do not disturb" signs would not stay on the door handle. They fell off every time you left or entered the room. Be aware that the rooms don't have a microwave, unless you ask for one. All in all it was a very nice stay. The rooms and grounds were very well kept too. We'd be back for the staff alone! Great stay.”

“Stayed here as it was the cheapest place I could find close to Harper's Ferry, 30 min away. Similar to what you'd expect at a super 8, could use some updating at least concerning the rooms' exterior glass doors. Looks like several people are living the hotel life while I was there, but my room was clean and bedding was nice. Not far from interstate and lots of shopping nearby.”

“We enjoyed the schoolhouse very much as the kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook easy dinners and lunches. The location was great as we visited nearby Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown’s Bavarian Inn (dinner). The farmland in the area was breathtaking as we enjoyed driving around at night. The schoolhouse was a special experience considering both of us are teachers. Great job on the decor!”
